This fabulous planter basket can be placed on a tabletop or on the floor, in or out of doors. However, if placed outdoors it will last longer on a covered patio or screened-in porch. Handwoven from rattan weavers woven between bamboo spokes in an alternating over one, under one pattern, the bottom which has a slightly elevated base to prevent wear, was fashioned from cross stretched bent bamboo. Ear handles are bent bamboo, rattan wrapped for durability. Color is naturally aged rattan which trends pale wheat in hue. Structurally sound and in excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. This cutie measures 9½” high (taken from top of handle to bottom); 9½” high below the handles; 9½” x 9½” W/D; interior 9” x 9” x 8¼” W/D/H; weight 9 oz.; handcrafted in China (label on the interior bottom) sometime in the 1960s to mid 1970s. A texturally interesting and visually appealing beauty that will complement any style, any space.
