Designed and hand manufactured by Serge Agraphiotis at Beau Sejour on South Sepulveda Blvd, West L.A.
This free standing bookcase holds not only books but displays ornaments on each side the main central part of the unit.
In the lower part of the unit, there are doors that open to offer shelves to store print paper, office supplies, etc.
In the center part and above a desk drawer there is a pull out table top to be used as a writing desk.
There are two other pieces of custom made furniture by Beau Sejour on my Chairish shop which may complete an elegant home office or upscale business office (look for an executive desk and also an 8 drawer filing cabinet.
Note: in the middle part of the bookcase, there are three wood shelves which are not shown in the photo, but are available to the buyer and can be viewed in the photo with the designers diagram.
On the side cabinets, the shelves are glass (as shown), to let the overhead light filter throughout all the space and shine on decorative objects.
Note 2:
If you wish, you may remove the broken pediment at the top of the bookcase for a more linear look.
Also, the removal of the pediment would lower the total height to 102 inches (instead of 111 inches). less
