The piece was purchased at a gallery in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2013, and is in mint condition.

Cynthia Coulombe-Bégin was born in 1984, and moved from Miami to Canada when she was a child. In 2006, Coulombe-Bégin earned a BFA from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada. She’s known for painting close-up parts of the body in a chiaroscuro style, utilizing high-contrast and vibrant color, and her paintings have been exhibited all over the world.
