This aquatint by Hans Figura (1898-1978) Austrian, appears to be somewhat rare, titled 'Zut mit Rotwand', winter scene, color aquatint etching/serigraph on silk, signed in pencil. Figura was a very prolific and creative artist from the early 20th century.
This etching of the Rotwand peak is from his 1939 series and exhibition called "Mountains and Peoples of Austria" that showed in Vienna, Austria
Vintage circa 1940's or 1950's - framed in White Plains NY
Very good vintage condition. Original frame and mats. Dust cover on reverse of frame needs to be replaced. New acid free materials are recommended.
