The case of colorful objects in the end of the tube is controlled by turning the end. It makes wonderful jewel-like patterns as the objects in the case fall in fascinating kaleidoscopic fashion. High quality mirrors inside the scope make the patterns very crisp and clear. It can be displayed either standing on end or laying down.

It measures 11 1/2" tall when standing on end. The bottom measures 5 1/4" in diameter. less
