It was … more Snow in Mukojima by KAWASE HUSUI (1883-1957) Vintage Japanese Woodblock Print. 2nd Edition. This is a fantastic piece. It was originally produced by the Minato Tracing Co. in Yokohama, Japan. Produced in 1957. Framed in 1958. When I unframed it and the companion piece that i found with it, I unearthed an envelope with the name of the US Naval Commander who purchased this print originally. The print measures 10.25" by 15.25". The marginalia says "Seasonal flavor of snow". The frame size is 13 1/4” x 19”.

I had the Japanese Works of Art Specialist at Sotheby's of London take a look at this. They gave me a verbal quote of 3100.00-3700.00 for this, the second of three editions. This would have been produced in the mid-1950s.

I am happy to remount it in the frame or send it without. Regardless, you would want to reframe it on acid-free paper, with spacers and non-glare glass.
