The serpentine apron is … more Vintage marble fireplace mantel surround with varying shades of brown and gray marble with white veining. The serpentine apron is decorated with a seashell motif in the French style complimented by angled corbels on solid plinth blocks. This fireplace is unused and has never been installed. It was acquired by Olde Good Things in unopened crates labeled from Italy and stated by the seller to have been produced in the 1970s. The surface of the marble is highly polished but has some blemishes. The hearthstone has been repaired and is in excellent condition. The manufacturer and exact date of creation are unknown. The dimensions are Overall 56.625 in. L x 43.75 in. H x 10.875 in. D, opening 37.5 in. W x 37 in. H, hearth 53.875 in. L x 11.875 in. W x 1.5 in. H. This weighs 447 lb. less
