- This Arthur Court designed and signed item, product is from and by an iconic, eclectic industrial, product designer, who came … more This Arthur Court designed and signed item, product is from and by an iconic, eclectic industrial, product designer, who came to prominence in the 1950s-60s, with his whimsical tables and other coveted furniture collection pieces. He also had collections manufactured in Taiwan, from the 60s'-current, for import to the U.S., and sold in department stores such as; Neiman Marcus, Gumps, Sak's, and Bloomingdales, with the same whimsical attributes attached to a household, kitchen products and utensils, such as this item is. This item is dated, c1994, a Signed Arthur Court pewter, of a trio of elephants with raised trunks, stand for center bowls. Marked on the underside with "Arthur Court, and dated. copyright 1994. We think the elephants come off for cleaning, as would seem to indicate from underside imagery, but have yet to try it out as such. Made in Taiwan sticker on the underside, with felted bumpers. In excellent Condition, only perhaps may need a better polishing, nothing that, to put that polished sheen, to this fabulously, eclectic. It may be inclusive for any interior setting, or dining table, buffet serving table, console, etc. less
