Whitman Bailey (1884-1954) drawing of avcovered bridge in Stamford, Connecticut.
Signed and dated' inscribed "The White Bridge - 1861"
Bailey studied under Howard Pyle and at Pratt. He moved to Stamford in 1924 and for the next 30 years drew historical scenes for the Stamford Advocate newspaper.
