Stunning Antique 1860 EASTLAKE Parlor Carved Hand Turned Pedestal Table Rift & Quarter Sawn Top Solid Red Oak
Beautiful cuts of wood from quarter sawn pieces, rift sawn and straight sawn. Unusual to have all 3 cuts in the table top.
Table top sits on a cutout fancy legged base that is joined together with an elaborate turn center column. It features ornate carvings with plenty of surface space. Solid and sturdy with cosmetic imperfections, nicks, dings, aging to finish consistent with age.

The finish has a nice patina and is most likely not original to the piece but it does have character and beauty from the 3 cuts of wood. Please enlarge the photos and review condition carefully and I'm happy to take additional photos upon request. To keep this piece in good shape a bit of wood polish for antique furniture would be recommended. I have not touched it as I do attempt to restore or clean up antiques. less
