A large quarter sawn oak china cabinet with curved glass sides and a single curved glass front door. Dates back to the 1900s era. Featured are the rare intricately carved pair of full body puttis holding a basket on their heads. The puttis are 20 inches tall including the baskets by 5 inches in diameter. Continuing down the columns are two panels featuring elongated carved hearts or shells stretching to the base. At the base are massive 4 inches by 4 inches lion claw feet with claws that are front and rear. At the top crown moulding is intricate deep and heavy carved acanthus leaves. Four removable oak shelves with plate grooves. Has a top shelf interior mirror. Original dark finish. Working lock with key. Original glass and hardware with no broken or missing parts. 75 inches tall by 58 inches wide by 19.50 inches deep. A very unusual high end Baroque style oak china cabinet with fantastic carved pair of puttis. Not very often does one see this type of quality furniture come to the fore front of today's markets.
