The lamp is quite usual in shape and size. Abstract, amorphic crystal glass streaming upward in a conical shape (remiscent of the Eiffel Tower), the translucent glass is produced by hand, by the Daum studio founded in 1878 in the town of Nancy, France.

Stunning translucent mid-century table lamp handmade and signed by Daum at base, Nancy, France. Rare, usually tall crystal base. Excellent condition. This extremely elegant mid-century table lamp in abstract form of a turned tapering form from base to top, in a “pulled”, slightly conical shape, somewhat remiscent of the the Eiffel Tower. An unusually tall, monochromatic, clear, translucent crystal lamp would grace any style of interior design.

Made in France by the legendary firm, Daum, circa 1960, in excellent condition. The lamp is wired for American standards and for three-way incandescent bulbs. Founded originally in 1878 by Jean Daum, in Nancy, France, it has become internationally famous for it exquisite parfum bottles, sculptures in crystal and art glass. It is the only atelier still internationally recognized for employing the pâte de verre process and produced in the Nancy, France environs. less
