A petite early 18th century mirror with original mirror plates. The frame is a border glass composed of strap work designs forming cartouche shapes with carved acanthus and shells. A boldly carved pearl edge moulding marks the innermost perimeter. Heavy worming visible on the back, distress to the surface and delivering to the mirror plate. Restored with some small losses and restorations to the carved elements due to the worming.
