We kindly suggest that you read the entire description, as with it we try to give you detailed technical and historical information to ensure the authenticity of our objects.
Original toilet bottle in Late Victorian style; on the body, made of smooth crystal, have been applied rich and elaborate silver decorations; for the closure, it has been accompanied by a convenient stopper whose linear decorations contrast nicely with the others on the bottle; all the silver parts are made of micro fusion finished by chiseling and assembled with precise and meticulous soldering. The flacon bears only one hallmark on the neck of the lid: a swan in a round field; this is a French mark that was introduced on July 1, 1893, on watch cases of any origin; it was later affixed by France as a hallmark guaranteeing the title of the silver on items from other countries sold at public auctions. From the style of workmanship, the design of the decorations from its quality, we can assume with good certainty that the bottle was made in Holland between 1905 and 1910 undoubtedly by skilled silversmiths, and, as mentioned it arrived in France through an auction sale, the French Control Office certified its value by affixing the above-mentioned "swan" stamp on the object. Our bottle is elegant and graceful and will bring a touch of sophistication to any dressing table or a harmonious classicism to the bedroom. The item is in good condition, only on the top edge of the silver in contact with the glass there is a small knock (see photo). Measurements diameter cm.7, height cm.14. For all our shipments we use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) for maximum protection and safety of the items. less
