Carved, bleached mahogany wood shows a little bit of splitting/shifting with age, but no major damage or need for replacement. A bit of water marking/staining on the wood and very slight rusting to the metal wires. Measures approximately 96"H (8 ft.) tall including stand by 42” square at the base. No makers marks, but this is probably made by the British firm of Maitland Smith in the style of grand Victorian birdcages. less
