- An English pair of vintage Moorcroft art pottery candle holders in the hibiscus pattern, manufactured at the Moorcroft Pottery at … more An English pair of vintage Moorcroft art pottery candle holders in the hibiscus pattern, manufactured at the Moorcroft Pottery at Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, circa 1970s. The candle holder pair feature a ring of colorful tube-lined and hand-painted hibiscus blossoms in tones of orange coral and salmon pink. The flowers are surrounded by pale green leaves contrasting with a darker ground of sage/olive green Very good condition with some crazing. Each bear their original gold foil Moorcroft Pottery oval labels and measure 3.5 in. height x 4 in. diameter (at base). One underside is impressed, MOORCROFT / MADE IN ENGLAND while the other is impressed MOORCROFT. less
