Presented here is a Vintage Reproduction from the Original Wallace Nutting titled “Springtime in the Dell” depicting a small wooded valley with the cherry blossoms in bloom and a babbling brook with penned title along the lower left border and marked by Nutting, Borin Art Products Corp, Chicago, Illinois on the back, displayed under glass in the original aged gold frame with matting and backing paper preserved. Circa 1915-25.

Wallace Nutting (November 17, 1861 – July 19, 1941) was an American minister, antiquarian and talented photographer & artist, who is most famous for his landscape photos of New England. He also was an accomplished author, lecturer, furniture maker, antiques expert and collector. His atmospheric photographs helped spur the Colonial Revival style. Nutting's residence in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is also known as the Wentworth-Gardner House. A Wallace Nutting Society exists for the study of his work. Today Nutting's furniture and photographs are widely collected.
