A set of 4 rare and beautiful rud thygesen and johnny sorensen dark horse chairs in chrome and black leather for botium, 1980s.
the playful design elements of this postmodern seating group combine to make it the perfect centrepiece for any minimalist theme. Crafted from a combination of steel, leather and plywood, the the chairs feature two sweeping curves which act as a back and arm rests, and that are also set at different heights.
made in the 1980’s, this set perfectly encapsulates the aesthetic of the era. It was designed by thygesen and sørensen, two important names in late twentieth century danish furniture, and was produced by botium in denmark.
the four chairs are presented in very good vintage condition with only signs of light use. There are no major marks to the leather and no rust or flaking of the chrome finish
