There is plaster applied … more This is a collaged work on a handmade board and frame designed by a local carpenter. There is plaster applied to the surface which is painted over by acrylic paint. The fabric was found in a Paris flea market and was dated in the 1920s as a fabric sample for a company in the Lower East Side of New York. The intention was to generate an image of a chair using abstracted shapes. There are scratches on the surface to indicate the seat of the chair. less
