Elaborate porcelain figure of the 19th century: young lady with rococo wig dressed as a huntress: black trident hat with colorful feather decoration, softly falling dress embracing the body with pink striped scarf as a belly bandage, on the feet matching pink buckled shoes, above the green frock coat of the hunter, the right hand resting on the rifle placed on a tree stump, with the left hand stroking the sitting up hunting dog at her side. Based on round meadow plinth with side gold heightened meander frieze decoration. Manufactory: meissen germany dating: around 1880 material: white porcelain, glossy finish technique: handmade porcelain, finest hand painting designed by johann carl schönheit (1730 - 1805): started working as an apprentice in the meissen factory in 1741 and has been in a responsible position since 1768. For more than 20 years, schönheit was an employee of both j.j. Kändler as well as from m.v. Acier, who entered the meissen factory in 1762.
