The handsome antique set is complete, with three volumes. Very attractively bound in half leather over marbled boards, with leather corners and gilt ruling. Raised spine bands with gilt titles and floral tooling within gilt ruled compartments. Marbled endpapers and top edge gilt to pages. Some rubbing to the edges of the leather spine and boards. The binding is sound in Volumes II & III. Volume I has a broken edge in the inside front. Minor wear, some age-toning. Owner's and date name written inside the front. Text in French. Date is conjectural (not dated in book). The books measure 4 1/2" x 7" x 1". Vol I has 313 pages. Vol II has 321 pages. Vol III has 333 pages. This is a great set of books for the collector or home decor. Please see photos for details as they are part of the description.
