Roger Bezombes was a classic French artist which we can describe as the perfect definition of the "French artist"; he was a passionate painter, driven by a colourful lifestyle portrayed in his artworks. He worked on the Switzerland Bally shoe campaign produced in 1965. This particular poster was made to appeal to a feminine public accentuated by the roses in the foreground. Its graphic, bold lines and intense colours perfectly embody Bezombes's style.
