They each have a delightful hand painted faux marquetry shell inlay on the front and the reverse. These tea boxes were used to store tea and are handcrafted, circa early 1930's. The lids, topped with a finial, fit snugly and they could be used for a variety of purposes.. We found them in a small village in the Cotswolds. See less
