This Yixing teapot is absolutely huge! It is in great vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only minor scuffs, as shown. There is also a small dimple in the handle as shown on the Phoenix side. This motif originated in China as yet another representation of the Yin and Yang. The Dragon and Phoenix represented the Emperor and Empress, respectively.
It measures 17" from spout to handle, 10" in diameter and 11" high and holds over 2 gallons of liquid!
