No dents or damage to the bronze. No chips, cracks or any damage to the porcelain. Minor scratches, discoloration to the enamel, consistent with age and use. Marks to the underside of the porcelain ( EC ) in black ( hardly seen ) see photos. Clean and ready to be placed. less

This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE, bronze ormolu mounted porcelain ( faience ) centerpiece.
Totally in the Chinoiserie Française taste, in the French aesthetic movement ( late 19 century ).
ALL hand painted, and enameled on porcelain, decorated with a flying bird , and flowers on a light blue color ground.
The flying bird background is a sunburst view ( Eugene Collinot manner ).
Totally in the manner of Eugene Collinot ( French artist late 19 century ), who was fascinated by manufacturing pieces in Middle and Far Eastern style.
The bronze ormolu mounted platter, high quality casting details, resting on 4 lions masks feet.
With 2 nicely decorated handles. less
