- Large fan form transom architectural building element having repeating wood slats which radiate out from the half circle center element. … more Large fan form transom architectural building element having repeating wood slats which radiate out from the half circle center element. The piece is constructed of solid wood with a metal half circle center element. The top wood trim shows some loss, it is structurally sound and sturdy, but again, is missing some of the original wood. Currently in original white paint finish, which shows some wear normal and consistent with age. Super as a stand alone sculptural decorative objet, or you could build it into a door frame etc if you are so inclined. This example is vintage 1930/1950's in the Art Deco style with Federal influence. less
