There are no nicks, chips, fleabites, cracks or signs of crazing, however, there are minor nicks and utensil scratches, typical indications of their past usage (see photos). Offered here are six 3-piece place settitings of the dishwasher-proof, oven-to-table "Ruska" dinnerware pattern designed by Ulla Procopé for Arabia in 1960 (and first released in 1968). Done in deep earthy tones of a mottled and speckled brown and black semi-matte glaze, "ruska" is the Finnish term for the autumnal colors when the foliage changes before blanketing the ground, and these serving pieces have a smoothe surface and are all slightly different in appearance resembling handcrafted studio pottery even though they were industrially manufactured.
The set consists of six dinner, six salad / dessert plates, and six bread and butter plates.
Ulla Procopé (1921 - 1968) was one of Finland's leading ceramic designers of the 20th century who left an indelible impact on Scandinavian design. She joined Arabia, the Finnish producer of fine ceramic tableware, in 1948, and designed several innovative and successful lines of ceramic products.

Salad / Dessert Plates (x 6): 7 7/8" in diameter x 5/8" in height
Dinner Plates (x 6): 10 1/8" in diameter x 1 3/8" in height less
