It is impossible to emphasise the fineness of the detail in this piece, from the chain mail and metal of the armour to the leather and fine skin tones of her skin Saint Joan stands on small plinth with her helmet and mace at her feet, the folds of her dress and the standard are decorated with gold fleur-des-lys detail The statue was made in Angers and she has been fully restored to her former glory The statue is 87” tall overall, Saint Joan is 63” tall and the base on which she stands os 32” square The sword and the standard can be removed for transportation, she is very heavy See less
