Classic elegant shape, art deco notes but at the same time the bauhaus style is characterized by a steel tube curved frame embracing the bed. Completely renovated structurally, new chrome plating, reinforced-re-tied epeda springs, re-upholstered with italian high-quality patterned velvet.

józsef peresztegi, a well-known hungarian bauhaus furniture designer between the two world wars, and the ii. Became one of the defining figures of the post-world war ii period. He is a founding member of the wood industry manufacturing design and editing office, established in 1951, which was the main venue for furniture design in the '50. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
