Girl with a green cap, black sleeveless blouse with white collar, green and white checked skirt, white socks and light brown shoes leaning on a wooden scooter. On a black, elongated flat base with rounded corners. Designed by stephan dakon (1904 - 1992), one of the most important designers who worked for the goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties. Dakon designed this model circa 1935/36. Made circa 1936 manufactory: goldscheider vienna / austria material & technique: hand-crafted ceramics, white earthenware, hand-painted, glossy finish size: height: 25.0 cm / 9.84 in width: 16.0 cm / 6.29 in depth: 8.0 cm / 3.14 in marks: model number 7406 / 174 / 11 goldscheider wien (vienna) manufactory stamp made in austria artist's signature 'dakon' on base underside this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
