Stunning and very rare Italian small Vanity Table of the 1950s, equipped with mirror and armchair, a real unique piece designed by Vittorio Dassi most likely four-handed together Gio Ponti, with whom he worked for many years.
It's an amazing and versatile piece, even very functional, and it would be a great addition to any modern interior decor as the bedroom.
All the structures are made of maple wood, and their uniqueness is given by the amazing shape design of the Armchair and also by the sculptured shape of the wooden handles of the two drawers, in addition to the perimetral woodworking very well finished in front with superb slatted details two-tone, even called 'grissinatura'.
Their condition of the period are to be considered very good as the images show, with slight signs of wear consistent with age and gentle use.
All the wooden surfaces have been polished with shellac recently, as well as the seat of the armchair and the sliding perimeter blind of the vanity have been reupholstered with an Italian high-quality velvet, even magnificent for its stripes texture design.
The mirror is original of the period but has been added as it was not originally part of the Vanity.
