Greatly nature-inspired with a touch of modernity - that is the essence of this collection. These candle lanterns are distinct for their versatility and multifunctionality. In day light when displayed without candles they serve as interior decorations. Alternatively, with a candlelight these lanterns create a stunning show of lights and shadows. Sculptural candle lanterns are unique but can be easily adapted to any interior as they possess both simplicity and elegance.
Sculptural decorations are made from used paper but it’s not papier-mâché. Paper mass is mixed with glue, color and concrete. When dried out and treated, acquires the characteristics of tree anew: it gives solidity, natural qualities, color and texture. It’s like raising a tree to a third life. In order to provide the work with these characteristics, we developed a special material mix, designated for our candle lanterns, that significantly embetter the performance, appearance and a sense of touch.
It’s a synthesis of sculpture, design and artistry, sometimes rough but elegant.
This material does not change color over time and is not afraid of moisture, dust can be wiped with a damp cloth.
All products are handmade and unique, so they may differ slightly from the image in the photo.
