Rare find of Triana ware hot chocolate set. I found these in an antique shop in MA, the lady now in her 80's hold me these were a friends and she had been given these as a wedding present 70 years ago and they were old then.
Triana Lebrillo ware was made in Spain in the 1700- 1800's. Spain introduced Europe to hot chocolate in the 17th century.
consists of the following
4 small cups no cracks or chips
6 small plates or saucers no cracks or chips
5 salad size plates one with a chip on the front shown in pictures.
1 chocolate pot with chip in lid
1 sugar pot with lid
1 milk jug
1 hot water vessel
measurements are of the largest plate.
