Maison Christofle, Paris."Magnifier "Cariatides" representing an erotic scene with a group of naked women entwined, by the sculptor Jean Filhos.
Jean Filhos (1921 - 2002) studied architecture and sculpture. He abandoned the architecture profession to devote himself entirely to sculpture and silversmithing. He created a series of erotic pieces that are highly collectible. The magnifier is rare.
