- These fabulous Towle Silver sugar tongs are created in gorgeous sterling silver and is most likely the Lady Constance pattern … more These fabulous Towle Silver sugar tongs are created in gorgeous sterling silver and is most likely the Lady Constance pattern that began production in 1922. These beautiful sugar tongs have a magnificent Art Deco style with a rope like pattern edging the borders of the angular outline and the grasping end has a claw like design. There is an engraved "S" in Art Deco script. Hallmarks read: "Sterling patent 1922, with a scripted T enclosing a rampant lion. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=4 inches, Width between tongs=1 inch, Depth=1/2 inch. These marvelous sugar tongs have been well cared for, gently used and are in excellent antique condition. There are some superficial scratches that do not diminish the beauty of these beautiful tongs. They are the perfect addition to your silver collection, particularly if you like the Art Deco style! less
