This Pair of Mid 20th Century Danish modern candlesticks is a stunning example of Danish craftsmanship from the 1950s. These candlesticks stand 8 3/8" tall and are 2 3/8" wide at the base, making them a substantial yet elegant addition to any home decor.
One of the most striking features of this pair is the rare Danish Blue painted finish, which adds a unique touch of color to the design. The turned wood method on a lathe was used to create these candlesticks, showcasing the skill and precision of the artisans who crafted them.
Both candlesticks are fully marked with labels on the bottom for BRDR RASMUSSEN COPENHAGEN, indicating that they were made in Denmark with Danish Quality. Although they are over 70 years old, these candlesticks are still in excellent condition. There are some small nicks in the finish, which is to be expected given their age and use.
Despite their age, these candlesticks still make a powerful statement in any mid-century enthusiast's home.
