Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this elm wood low table which could nowadays be used as a coffee table (the Chinese didn't used coffee tables per se in the 19th century), features a square top with central board, sitting above an open apron accented with a regular rhythm of pillar strut motifs. The table is raised on four straight legs adorned with horse hoof extremities, connected to one another through humpback stretchers on all sides. The table will therefore be able to float and be seen from all angles.
