Lovely vintage ashtray/mini butter plate from the famed and now sadly closed Four Seasons Restaurant. The Four Seasons was an icon of modern design with an interior designed by Philip Johnson in the famous Seagram building in NY, furniture by Mies van der Rohe, and it's beautiful logo of four seasonal trees, designed by Emil Antonucci.

"At the close of the restaurant, contents went to auction, and the set of 4 complete designs sold for $10,000. The ashtrays each featured a little tree." This is the tree symbolizing "AUTUMN" in an orange color. Own a piece of Mid-Century history.
