The cotton cloth feels strong and there are no apparent holes, just a small area along the seam where the stitching has come out and a few “age” spots. They have been lovingly stored in a smoke-free home and would make wonderful wall hangings, accent pieces, or made into two smaller or one larger quilt, pillows...or used for upholstery. These very special and beautiful unfinished turkey red and white cotton quilt tops were purchased at an estate sale in the Midwest mid 20th c. The geometric patterns were meticulously hand stitched. The squares were then sewn together by machine. The turkey red and white combination is striking and creates so much charm and character.
Each quilt top is 43”x70” and could be combined to make an 86x70 quilt.
