It is the all original painted finish that makes this chest of drawers from the Swedish countryside a special find.
Note the original brick red paint accented with the blue/green/white folk art accents all faded and worn to the warm pine patina below.
The faint remains of a monogram and date indicate it may have originally been a wedding gift.
