This is a Completely Hand Made Piece. The Classic Salt Glaze Exterior has a Wonderful Deep Cobalt Blue Hand Decorated Design on the Front that Includes 1 1/2 Indicating its One and One Half Gallon Storage Capacity. The Interior Glaze is Done in a High Gloss Ox Blood Red Color. It has No Maker Mark - Possibly From the Baltimore Maryland Region. It is in Very Good Strong and Sound Usable Condition and Displays Beautifully. The Exterior has Some Stains and Color Variations as a Result of Age and Use Over the Years. Cosmetic Imperfections Noted - It has a Faint Hairline Crack at the Base Area Below the Blue Decoration. It Also has a Chip at the Base Perimeter as Well as a Chip at The Top Rim - These Can Best Be Seen in the Last 2 Photographs in My Listing. Truly an Fine Example of Authentic Early American Blue Decorated Stoneware. Perfect in a Country Kitchen Setting to House and Display Wood Spoons - Utensils Etc..
