This is an original stretched canvas Abstract Expressionist Painting, unsigned, made in the 90s. The colors are vivid and bold as well as the composition between colors and form are well balanced. Not all abstract paintings possess this mastery of formalism.

This painting is evocative of the "Action Painters" of the early Mid Century Period, most notably Jackson Pollock. There is an accumulation of paint that has been built onto the surface of this canvas as well as you can see where the artist has thrown paint onto the canvas. This technique is what coined the term Action Painters.
