Hand painted with a beautiful , traditional iridescent dark glaze that creates an all over oil slick appearance. There is gold on the bill, eye and in other accent spots on the piece. The tail feathers , wings, head & the handle have a cloudy white color with pink tints throughout. The ribbon around the goose’s neck has been painted red. This teapot was originally one part of a 3 piece set featuring 3 Redware geese, one teapot, one sugar or honey container and one creamer. I have an example of the sugar/ honey goose listed separately. See less
