It is NOT a recent reproduction print. It features "dancing partners" at an elegant evening event. The 3 women are each dressed in Paul Poiret haute couture fashion designs. Paul Poiret (1897-1944) was the leading couturier of the twentieth century. He was the king of fashion He revolutionized couture using oriental motifs, liberated women from the restraints of corsets and was credited with ushering in a new world of modern fashion. This image is classic Poiret styling. The print was illustrated and signed by the well acclaimed Art Deco illustrator Umberto Brunelleschi. Brunelleschi was born in Italy but spent his career life in Paris. He is best known for his fashion pochoirs, costume designs, and book illustrations. His work is now sold at art auctions worldwide. This image is perfect for today's fashionista or vintage clothing collector. It is in excellent, clean condition. 8.25 x 9.25 inches in size.
