Spectacular huge (41,7 in.) ten-tier ballroom chandelier by Doria Studio, Germany with 465 hand blown high quality Murano glass tubes on a solid metal frame.
This Impressive chandelier was made in Germany in the 1960s. It has 10 layers with 465 hand blown swirled glass tube elements. It’s a highly distinctive piece and looks stunning when illuminated.
Designer/Manufacturer: DORIA-Studio Germany. iF Design Award in 1968.
Measures: diameter appr. 41.73" in (106 cm), height appr. 31.5" in (80 cm). Frame: 10 layers of hand blown swirled glass tube elements take up 60 + 81 + 72 +63 + 54 + 45 + 36 + 27 + 18 + 9 glass tubes.
Lighting: takes 33 x E27/E26 standard Edison bulbs.
Wattage: we recommend up to 40w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v. Ready to use worldwide.
Condition: this vintage piece is in very good original condition. The tubes are without chips or cracks.
Wiring: the lamp has been tested with US American light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring required. All our goods are originally wired for 220v. Delivery without bulbs.
Weight: the total weight of this Doria ballroom chandelier is approx. 231.45 lbs.
