Large scale lacquer box with canted corners standing on brass lion paw feet. The lid lifts to reveal a lift out tray that is divided into compartments, some of which have carved bone sewing implements. Below is a pull out drawer with a lidded compartment. Brass carrying handles to the sides. Has a key, but is not working in the lock. Overall condition is good with some gilt losses to the lid. Recently waxed and polished. Brass feet l think are a later addition. less
