This set of 9 rare original Pop Art exhibition event postcard prints are by the world famous French born and Los Angeles based " Mr. Brainwash " is a name used by the Street artist Thierry Guetta. Known for his colorful social commentary Street Art Pop Art style images of iconic people. His vibrant palette and imitation of Pop artists like Andy Warhol and Jean Michel Basquiat add a puckish wink to his intentionally derivative persona.
Sly and playful with his juxtaposition of the cultural idols of the past & today he portrays including Einstein, Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, & Kate Moss. World famous Mr. Brainwash works among a new group of infamous world art stars including Banksy and Shepard Fairey.
The exhibition event postcard format pieces are rare limited release prints only available at the artist's exhibition. The wonderful artworks in themselves are an homage to other great artists that are internationally loved as well. This set of 9 prints are from the 2010 NYC exhibition event.
These original postcard prints are printed on heavyweight paper stock with a semi gloss finish in saturated vibrant inks. They each measure 4" W X 6" H. They are in great new condition, and are now being offered here for an excellent price. less
