Tilt top tables were designed to save space when not in use. The mechanics of this table are I working condition. Made in the mid 20th century of walnut, this table is a wonderful reproduction of the Georgian style. The tripod base with pad feet support a turned and reeded column base. The tilting mechanism locks with a brass piece. The glass was a later addition for surface protection. Please see all pictures and condition notes.
The “Oxblood Antique” stamp on the underside refers to the color of the finish. less
