This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE bronze sculpture, depicting a reclining deer, on a marble rectangular base.

The marble base, in 2 colors ( black and brownish ), add more luxury to the statue.

Totally in the Art Deco taste and period.

Signed on the marble at the right front side ( see photos ).

Rochard ( Irénée Rochard ), French artist ( 1906- 1984 ), famous for its Art Deco animal sculpture, made using bronze, marble and granite.
