An amazing depiction of the Holy Trinity, as seen through the eyes of Andrei Rūblev; an infamous icon painter in … more An amazing depiction of the Holy Trinity, as seen through the eyes of Andrei Rūblev; an infamous icon painter in early, medieval Russia. He painted these gorgeous icons for the Eastern Russian Orthodox Christian Church. (I had to choose country of origin as Germany due to the frame, Russia is not on the list.)

Framed in Germany, sometime in the late 1800s (see tag on back). I have no clue about the original year of manufacture/production of the picture itself, but it appears significantly older.

I also have no idea how this art was placed on the wood itself prior to being framed.
